The XN-3100 hematology system ensures standardization of the entire complete blood count (CBC) process, including the preparation and staining of blood smears.
The station comprises two automated hematology analysis modules—each of which can be equipped with the full range of diagnostic capabilities of the XN series—and an SP-50 slide preparation and staining module (for the XN-3100 station).
The inclusion of two hematology analysis modules in the station allows for the functional separation of tasks between them: a screening module and an advanced hematology analysis module.
The modular division of functions, combined with the effective application of reflex testing, allows the analysis algorithm to be adapted individually for each sample.
By employing a system of rules, the station enables functional rationalization and, consequently, a significant reduction in the volume of microscopy performed.
The SP-50 slide staining module can be used independently for the preparation of peripheral blood smears, as well as for staining bone marrow smears.
Overall control of the station via a computer-based station (extended IPU) ensures the management of all processes.
